Marilungo Marco was born in Porto San Giorgio in 1971. Equipped with a happy spirit and irony of a 'skilled hand, began his career as a cartoonist immediately reaching significant results: between 1992 and 1993 he published several cartoons on "Cuore" (Weekly worship in those years, with a circulation of 200,000 copies per week), the "Gazzetta di Ancona", "Fegato", "Mai dire sport", "Local Comix" and various magazines puzzles including "La settimana enigmistica". Of note is the appearance of "Comix" and "Die Zeit" in Hamburg and several other publications. Right now his work has shown an innate propensity to irony as a means of expression together with a good knowledge of technical means. In the early '90s, he enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts of Macerata and discovered the painting, and completed it with very good results. Just the know-how of classical art techniques have meant that Marco Marilungo could mix his cartoonist activities with the pictorial act, with singular achievements. There are various collective and personal exhibitions including the "Open" Sassoferrato and "Art in the pot" in Milan.

His works have aroused interest in various environments, He have appeared in television programs. His works have been purchased by collectors ironic illustration, there are victories in major competitions such as the well-known national painting competition of Camerata Picena.

In 1999 he was interviewed by "Mediamente" (Rai program), when  the multimedia lab at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Macerata was established, where he lectured on "digital animation techniques." At the same time he was called from a known brand of toys as a technical consultant for the launch of a play on the painting. Since 1997, he public cartoons on  Agenda Smemoranda . His collaboration with the famous diary has gone well beyond the dozens of drawings published in recent editions, his work has appeared in other productions related to editorial Smemoranda as in the recent "La classe è stata invasa dal principio di inerzia" 2010. Lately, his cartoons have been published on various blogs and the magazine of political satire "La Gazza Ladra."

Recently, his cartoons have had considerable success on Facebook, thanks to collaboration with Fanpage.it. In particular, some cartoons  have spread virally becoming real objects of worship. Due to this spread some of his drawings have appeared on "Repubblica.it" and on the transmission televiiva "Ballarò".

In the education sector for teaching digital and traditional art techniques and animation, was carried out and is now held in many institutions, including: the Academy of Fine Arts of Macerata, the Centro Sperimentale di Design of Ancona, the University of Macerata - Faculty of Economics (Advertising and business communication), the Institute for graphics and advertising "Bonifazi" Civitanova Marche, the Ipsia "Mattei" Recanati, Recanati for The Acs. Also interesting is his teaching in primary school that led him to develop the technique of two-dimensional animation with drawings of children, arousing much interest from many schools and agencies such as the province of Macerata, the province of Venice, the Province of Fermo, and several other municipalities. Marco Marilungo was more than the other witness to the transition from traditional to digital techniques and pioneer of web design, in fact since 1996, when the Internet was a privilege for the few, he was already working in the creative sector and WEB publishing for a known company telecommunications, Wallnet, who was one of the early providers of Italy.

In 1999 he founded, together with other specialists in the field, the EMPIX Multimedia Ltd: a study graphic designer specializing in the creation of websites, multimedia production and publishing in general. By working with a team of great technical and artistic Marco Marilungo in recent years he completed several projects of considerable thickness for public and private entities including: Lube Volleyball MC, Assindustria Macerata and Ancona, Romcaffè, Cycling Team, Lube kitchens spa, Campetella Racing (World 250), Prefabricated Forest spa, Boosley jeans, Naturino, Sigma Montegraro Basketball (series A1), Furniture Pontoni spa, Eli editions of Recanati, Imac spa. Realizes various projects with various government agencies including: Marche Region, City of Macerata, Civitanova, Fermo, Porto San Giorgio, Recanati, Corridonia Morrovalle, Comunità Montan dei Monti Azzuri, Sistema turistico delle grandi firme, Tourist System Brand Fermo, COPAGRI, Library of Macerata, Georgica Academy of Treia, Chamber of Commerce of Macerata, Marche Asur, Cosmari, and indirectly as a subcontractor agencies, produces various mascots and animations for teaching to management staff for dozens of companies including multinational As recently Ergo Insurance in Milan. In terms of graphic composition and advertising his work has appeared in GQ and other footwear-magazines , and always for the footwear sector, creates within the Multimedia Empix the TV spot "Kin 2012" for the Mediaset channels.

Considerable interest has been carried out, recently, in Empix Multimedia projects, in particular, are to be reported "Vegebattle", promoted by Regione Marche, in which the designs of Marco Marilungo have shown  properties of vegetables for a young audience, in a sympathetic and effective method. "Ethnic": multimedia product intended for foreign workers and that he had a special mention to '"e-content award" then "Media": multimedia production in which the animations and illustrations explain the world of work the boys. Also interesting is the cartoon "Matteo Ricci" developed with children of primary school, used as a promotional product for Macerata area in ​​international trade fairs.
